About the Role:
Assist ME is a small, community-driven nonprofit that collects, cleans, and redistributes free gently used medical mobility equipment to neighbors in need. The organization served 1,900 area residents in 2025 alone. Were looking for a hands-on Part-Time Operations Coordinator to keep our warehouse running smoothly, support volunteers, and help more people get the equipment they need faster.

What Youll Do:
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operationsreceiving, cleaning, organizing, and tracking donated medical equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory and reporting using Zoho systems and ensure equipment is safe, clean, and available.
- Support, train, and schedule our amazing volunteers who process donations and fill equipment requests.
- Coordinate donation drop-offs and pick-ups with community partners.
- Supervise and guide our receptionist team in managing client requests and excellent customer service.
- Communicate clearly with the Executive Director, volunteers, and partners about needs and progress.
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or warehouse management (nonprofit experience a plus).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfort using technologyfamiliarity with inventory systems, spreadsheets, reporting, and/or databases is a bonus.
- A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for helping others.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (with help as needed).
Physical Requirements:
This position works in a warehouse environment handling durable medical equipment. The employee must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and, with assistance and/or mechanical devices, maneuver and position items exceeding 50 pounds. The role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and pushing/pulling equipment and carts, and performing team lifts to safely move and load hospital beds and other large items.
Schedule:
Part-time position (approx. 2025 hours/week).
