Promised Land Living (PLL) is seeking aContracted Finance Managerto oversee financial stewardship and operational accounting for our growing nonprofit ministry.
This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing QuickBooks Online, supporting nonprofit compliance requirements, and ensuring responsible stewardship of donor-supported funds. The Finance Manager will work closely with PLL leadership and provide regular financial reporting to support informed decision-making.
We are seeking an experienced nonprofit finance professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing recurring financial processes independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online
- Manage monthly financial close and documentation
- Track restricted and unrestricted funds
- Support preparation of IRS Form 990 and related filings
- Monitor compliance deadlines (1099s, payroll, registrations, etc.)
- Provide financial reports for leadership and Board review
- Maintain organized documentation for financial transactions
Ideal Experience
- Experience managing nonprofit finances
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Familiarity with nonprofit compliance and reporting requirements
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and accountability
- Ability to manage recurring deadlines independently
Estimated Time Commitment
Approximately2030 hours per month, with occasional seasonal fluctuations.
