CONTEXTO ORGANIZATIVO:

En este nivel, los titulares de estos puestos deben asumir la responsabilidad de llevar a termino una serie de procesos y actividades relacionados con la seguridad que requieren un cierto nivel de interpretacion de las directrices y practicas estandar. Ademas, pueden recomendar una determinada linea de accion sobre cuestiones de seguridad, tratar con funcionarios de diversos niveles.
FINALIDAD DEL PUESTO:
Desempenar una serie de funciones, especializadas y orientadas a los procesos, relacionadas con las operaciones de seguridad, incluida la vigilancia y el mantenimiento del equipo de seguridad de conformidad con los procedimientos
establecidos.
RESPONSABILIDADES PRINCIPALES:
- Ayudar a examinar las amenazas y los riesgos de seguridad y compilar informes precisos sobre las tendencias y las situaciones que podrian repercutir negativamente en las operaciones del PMA, para velar por que la informacion se compile cuidadosamente en apoyo de la elaboracion de informes y la toma de decisiones.
- Examinar la informacion relacionada con la seguridad (p. ej., incidentes de seguridad y eventos, apoyo de seguridad a las actividades diarias, etc.) y utilizar instrumentos de gestion de informacion institucionales o locales para obtener analisis e informes basicos y garantizar que las partes interesadas pertinentes pueden disponer facilmente de esa informacion.
- Actuar de enlace y coordinarse con la administracion local, las autoridades judiciales y de seguridad, las comunidades, el personal de seguridad de las Naciones Unidas y de ONG y otros agentes, con el fin de facilitar el acceso y poder ejecutar los programas en condiciones de seguridad y para mitigar los riesgos que podrian amenazar al personal y otros recursos.
- Ayudar a planificar, coordinar, preparar y realizar misiones sobre el terreno, incluido el seguimiento del personal, y realizar evaluaciones periodicas de la situacion de seguridad en su esfera de responsabilidad, para ayudar a ejecutar programas seguros y eficaces.
- Preparar, despues de las misiones sobre el terreno, informes detallados de evaluacion de la seguridad que contengan recomendaciones para mitigar los riesgos, con el fin de contribuir al analisis de la situacion de seguridad y facilitar la toma de decisiones.
- Ayudar a poner en practica todas las medidas de gestion y mitigacion de los riesgos de seguridad, incluidas las normas minimas operativas de seguridad (MOSS), con el fin de garantizar el cumplimiento.
- Ayudar en la gestion y el mantenimiento del equipo de seguridad y determinar las nuevas necesidades para fortalecer la capacidad tecnologica en consonancia con las exigencias operacionales.
- Contribuir a perfeccionar y poner al dia la documentacion sobre la planificacion en casos de emergencia y para imprevistos, incluidos los preparativos materiales y los procedimientos para prestar apoyo a las actividades de preparacion ante crisis.
- Ayudar a determinar las necesidades de formacion en seguridad para contribuir a planificar e implementar la capacitacion correspondiente, con el fin de satisfacer las necesidades de perfeccionamiento del personal.
- EXPERIENCIA DESEABLE PARA DESEMPENAR ESTA FUNCION:
- Minimo 3 anos de experiencia en seguridad, fuerzas armadas, policia.
- Deseable experiencia previa con Organizaciones Humanitarias y/o operaciones de seguridad de la ONU.
- CUALIFICACIONES ACADEMICAS ESTANDAR MINIMAS:
- Formacion: Educacion secundaria completa, preferiblemente con cursos o certificaciones en seguridad, proteccion, gestion de emergencias o areas afines. .
- Idiomas: Dominio, hablado y escrito, del idioma espanol
