Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Technical Support
Assist the ECHO Manager and Education Project Supervisor in planning, and reporting of provincial education activities.
Supervise field education staff, monitor performance, and ensure timely submission of performance management evaluations.
Conduct field visits to provide technical guidance, on-the-spot feedback, and constructive support to IRC and IP staff.
Ensure project activities align with workplans, objectives, and timelines.
Provide technical guidance to IPs on EiE (Education in Emergencies) programs, including training, capacity building, and sharing best practices.
Monitor budget utilization at the provincial level and report discrepancies or concerns to the project Supervisor.
Maintain accurate records of project logistics, inventory, and expenditures.
Prepare regular progress reports, reflective documents, and financial projections for submission to the central office.
Coordinate resource allocation (personal, financial, materials, equipment) efficiently to achieve project objectives.
Education Program Implementation & Coordination
Oversee education interventions including TLS establishment, CBE programs, school repairs, Documentation, case referral and CBE & Remedial to formal school transitions.
Organize and participate in provincial and regional education meetings, workshops, and trainings, draft and share minutes with management and IPs.
Develop and implement systems for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting; analyze results to identify trends, challenges, and recommendations.
Identify training needs and facilitate capacity-building initiatives for education personnel, teachers, community members, and IP staff.
Advocate for education and promote awareness among communities and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with IRC policies, donor requirements, and quality standards in all education activities.
Protection & Child Safeguarding
Conduct outreach to communities and refugee populations to provide information on education and protection services.
Follow up on child protection case identification and referrals in collaboration with IPs and child protection actors.
Forge and maintain partnerships with child protection agencies, law enforcement, social services, community-based organizations, and IPs.
Monitor and evaluate child protection interventions in education settings; collect and analyze data for reporting and program improvement.
Participate in provincial and regional protection meetings, workshops, and trainings; draft minutes and share findings with the central office.
Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain effective working relationships with government agencies, NGOs, community leaders, IP, and other stakeholders.
Facilitate communication between IP, communities, education authorities, and IRC teams.
Address operational or technical challenges jointly with IPs and field teams.
Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support education and protection programs.
Key Working Relationships: Education Provincial Supervisor, ECHO Project Manager, Deputy Education Coordinator-Technical, Sr. IM Officer and IRC support units.
Qualifications and Requirements:
A bachelors degree in education, social science, literature and a masters degree will be considered advantages.
Experience with community-based education and formal education system support.
Strong experiences in training planning, delivery, assessment, and reporting
Experience with project planning and management (2 to 3 years)
Expertise in budget management
Strong communication skills with field staff
Strong experience in maintaining coordination with stakeholders.
Having good experience in education services, monitoring and supervision
