Job Description:
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Community engagement and Sponsorship education
Participates in sponsorship education processes and contributes as needed
Provides technical input on sponsorship messaging.
Maintains inventory of sponsorship community materials.
Provides technical input on sponsorship aspects of community engagement.
Participates in community engagement and capacity building efforts of partners and community groups.
Supports DF to coordinate specific needs of sponsorship communication at critical points-meetings with parent, etc.
Child selection
Plans RC distribution by Primary Focus Area and monitors RC inventory on an ongoing basic
Supports development of child selection criteria along with the DF
Ensures alignment of child selection criteria with WV intent
Coordinates overall process of child selection including timeframe, materials, documentation, etc.
Coordinates information management quality assurance, data entry, record management
Develop long term plan for RC supply compliance plan with team
Designing integrated activities with children
Provides subject matter expertise for integration of sponsorship requirements with development process and child participation
Coordinates Integrated Activity Plan to link sponsorship requirements with project or other activities
Child monitoring
Provides coordination and support to ensure Child Monitoring Standards are met
Supports the establishment of monitoring processes and systems through CWB Committee including volunteer arrangements
Coordinates Integrated monitoring (?) Plan
Coordinates information management Data quality, data entry, monitoring, tracking, exception reports, follow-up reports
Coordinates the incorporation of child protection standards in sponsorship processes.
Work closely with the DF to ensure CMS is integrated well as a part of community led child protection mechanisms.
Ensures that STEP data is made available on a regular basis for staff/partners review and decision making.
Sponsor communication
Ensures sponsor communications activities are designed in such way so as to contribute to life skills and development assets of children
Coordination of design, development, of communication materials, quality assurance and administration (including postage)
Coordinates information management, data quality, data entry, monitoring, tracking, exception reports, follow-up reports
Ensure sponsor visits are prepared and facilitated in a way to transform the sponsors as it is the ultimate opportunity
Programme team support and development
Engage in own personal learning and development and spiritual maturity and contribute to the development of colleagues
Contribute to ongoing reflection and learning within the team to improve programme performance
Demonstrated commitment to World Vision values and philosophy, and capacity to engage with the broader community in living these values.
Knowledge, Skill, Abilities:
A bachelor’s degree in any subject is essential
Good working knowledge of WV and humanitarian industry Knowledge & Preferable Skills is preferable
Strong Communication skills (English, local language) are essential
Good interpersonal, coordination, facilitation & training skills are essential
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Good working knowledge of computer (computer operations/programs/software) is essential
Good working knowledge of computer base database system Preferable
Basic Photography and Typing skills Essential
Technical writing and analytical skills Preferable
Leadership and case management skills Preferable
Interview/Data gathering skills
At least two years’ work experience in the field of customer services
in commercial/ public institutions/ INGO preferred
Demonstrated ability to operate effectively and sensitively in the cultural context of WV Myanmar. Able to objectively work with the members of ADP team
Have good dealing experiences with children.
