Key Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator provides over-all supervision and coordination of the PHINLA 2 Project. S/he ensures that project goals and objectives are met based on standards of quality, timeliness and sound budget utilization. S/he relates cooperatively with both WVDF and EWC project implementers for successful implementation and integration of project components. Effectively coordinates with internal support teams to ensure timely and quality provision of technical and administrative support. Conducts regular monitoring, context analysis, and writing/submission organizational and donor-required reports. Demonstrates Christ-centered lifestyle that inspires passion and set high standard of personal integrity/maturity.

Responsibilities

Communicates project goals and objectives to the partner organization for the impactful implementation of the PHINLA 2 project.

In collaboration with EWC, supports project planning to identify major needs, set objectives, establish priorities, and propose improvements as necessary.

Ensures that project strategies related to livelihoods and economic development, advocacy, child protection, and project-initiated interventions are carried out and smoothly implemented in partnership with EWC.

Adheres to approved budgets by monitoring monthly utilization rates and implementing cost-saving mechanisms, as appropriate.

Monitors and validates progress of implementation.

Ensures that operations bottlenecks identified are addressed on time and according to organization standards.

Coordinates with WVDF technical teams for necessary support related to CP, Education, Livelihoods, Advocacy, and Communications as detailed in the approved plans.

Prepares, consolidates and submits required reports to LFO, donor requirements and ensure that all information are validated.

Conducts regular performance agreements and reviews, coaches her/his direct reports, and monitor staff status to ensure accomplishment of targets and maintaining staff wellbeing.

Facilitates coaching of direct reports on performance management and staff issues addressed.

Documents or coordinates documentation of promising practices or success stories that can be shared to potential sponsors or donors or as supporting evidences for various grants or PNS proposals.

Attends regular team devotion as part of staff spiritual nurture.

Participates in meetings, such as team and organizational, as necessary

Submits Performance Agreements and Staff Learning and Development Plan and Performance Reviews

Supports emergency response, as necessary.

Qualifications

A graduate of a bachelors degree in Community Development, Social Work, Social Science, Agriculture, or any related courses and/or equivalent experience in project management.

At least three (3) years experience in implementing solid waste projects or related projects, report writing and monitoring of projects.

Competence in program coordination and partners collaboration, use of MS Office and excellence in both oral and written English communication especially in technical report writing and analysis.

Experienced in coordination with local agencies and in working with local government units, civil society organizations, churches, faith-based organizations, etc.
