The Administration and Facilities Management Unit of the International Rescue Committee seeks to engage service providers for four months contract to fulfill the role of cleaning workers at the Beirut Office. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a good standard of cleanliness in all designated areas and maintain a clean space for IRC staff and visitors. Scope of Work Perform daily cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing as per the provided checklist and schedule including but not limited to the: Regularly clean the kitchen, microwave, and fridge according to the assigned schedule. Wash dishes following agreed hygiene standards. Ensure all offices are properly maintained and inspected according to office upkeep standards as scheduled. Clean the bathrooms based on the pre-designated steps and per the scope of hygiene set by the facilities management and on schedule. Receive kitchen and office supplies at designated areas and communicate the need of supplies per need. Serve tea/coffee to employees and IRC guests twice daily at assigned areas. Report any damage, deficiencies, or disturbances in office equipment or infrastructure to supervisors (Fridge, kettle, leakages and blockages…etc) in designated areas. Deliverables: Completion of the tasks would be confirmed through submitted Daily Cleaning Reports: Documented completion of daily cleaning activities Completed daily Checklist confirming the cleaning and inspection of all rooms according to standards. External Communication and Other Departments’ Support: Reporting Line: Administration and Facilities Officer Duration and Schedule: The service agreement is to be effective as of the 1/4/2026 to 31/7/2026 From Monday till Friday from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm OR From Monday till Friday from 11:00 am till 5:00 pm Invoice of the service is required to be submitted on a monthly basis.Requirements: Presentable and courteous attitude Organization and time management skills Reliable and trustworthy Ability to read and write in Arabic The English Language is an added value. Strictly adhere to health and safety rules and be aware of related practices. Willing to Follow IRCs policies and procedures, including the Code of Conduct, IRC Way, and Safeguarding Policies. 5 years’ relevant experiences in the housekeeping field (hospitals, hotels, schools, offices) Ability to work in collaboration with a diverse team of employees Ability to prioritize tasks. Ability to work under pressure. Self-motivated, honest, highly responsible, and punctual. Attention to detail. Time oriented Flexible in dealing with all requirements.
