Your Opportunity Help shape the future of care through education, leadership, and best practice. Are you a passionate and experienced nurse who enjoys mentoring others and improving care standards? We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Educator to lead training and development initiatives within our Residential Aged Care services. As the Nurse Educator, you will coordinate, develop, and deliver education programs for staff and students working in our Residential Aged Care services. You will ensure training aligns with regulatory standards, organisational goals, and current evidence-based practice while supporting staff to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents. You will also play a key role in integrating the National Aged Care Standards into everyday clinical and care practices and supporting new staff through orientation and induction. Your key responsibilities will be to: Coordinate and deliver education and training programs for staff and ensure completion of all mandatory training requirements Facilitate orientation and induction programs for new team members and maintain accurate training records and documentation Ensure training programs align with Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and regulatory requirements Lead infection prevention and control training initiatives Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives Support the review and improvement of policies and procedures and clinical practices Assist with accreditation documentation and compliance requirements Build strong and positive working relationships across the organisation Develop partnerships with external stakeholders including healthcare professionals and traiving providers Participate in staff meetings, case conferences and relevant external forum Requirements for Success A registered nurse with strong clinical experience, ideally within Aged Care Passionate about teaching, mentoring and developing others with cert IV in teaching and assessment Knowledgeable about Aged Care Quality Standards and best practice care Experienced in designing and delivering engaging education programs Highly organised with excellent communication and leadership skills Valid NDIS and AHPRA clearance Before starting work with us, you will need to undertake a national police history check, qualifications, referee checks, NDIS and AHPRA checks Your benefits Rewarding work every day you know youre making a real difference Not-for-profit salary packaging, reducing your tax (details via AccessPay) Free external, confidential counselling and access to chaplaincy support Volunteering opportunities Extra leave available including an additional public holiday, additional annual leave day on your work anniversary and the opportunity to purchase further annual leave.
