As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse in our hospital, youll be attentive, driven, detail-oriented and empathetic. Youre registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC. With post-registration experience, youre a team player with a passion for exceptional patient care.

As a Senior Oncology Staff Nurse, you will:

Have experience in Oncology and have a UKONS SACT passport (or equivalent)

Be proficient in phlebotomy, cannulation and accessing Central Venous Access Devices

Be a valued addition to the team in our consultant and nurse-led service

Work with patients receiving chemotherapy or new treatments, such as immunotherapy

Fully assess each patients needs, providing tailored treatment plans and care

Administer systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT)

Assist consultants during clinics

Provide care for Acute Oncological emergencies

Collaborate with the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT Team)

Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.
