Director of Clinical Services Guildford Hospital | Permanent contract | Full time Competitive salary depending on experience 37.5 hours per week

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital is one of the busiest hospitals within the Nuffield Health network, delivering exceptional care across a wide range of specialties. We are now seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Clinical Services to join our senior leadership team and drive excellence across our clinical operations.

As a Director of Clinical Services at our hospital, youll have a strong track record in leading and developing nursing practice. As well as a thorough understanding of evidence-based practice and the health care regulatory agenda.

Key Requirements:

Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification

Significant experience operating at a senior leadership level within a hospital setting

Proven experience overseeing Oncology and Surgical services

Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex budgets

An established and confident networker, able to build collaborative relationships internally and externally

A strategic thinker with the ability to lead change and influence clinical excellence

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and clinical services for adults and children. We are proud to have received a “good” rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite and a busy oncology unit. Weve been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care and our Endoscopy service has achieved JAG accreditation. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit. The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
