Senior MRI Radiographer (Bank)

As a Bank MRI Radiographer at our Exeter Hospital , youll bring a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification. Ideally, youve also had Radiation Protection Supervisor training. But whats vital is your caring nature. Seeing patients as people, you offer understanding and empathy.

As a Bank MRI Radiographer, you will:

Be our clinical lead in the department, on the ward and in theatre

Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload

Collaborate with leading practitioners and experience new practices, equipment and facilities

Enjoy scoping and developing policies and procedures

Supervise and develop junior team members

Provide a service of the highest quality, with sensitivity and compassion

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital

The Exeter Nuffield hospital is based next to the RD&E hospital in Wonford, Exeter. The hospital has 2 theatres, as well as a hybrid cardiac catheter laboratory/theatre and an Endoscopy suite. There are two ward areas: an inpatient area with 21 beds and a day-case ward with 12 beds. We also have a busy outpatient department, pharmacy, physiotherapy, and radiology department including an MRI scanner. We specialise in elective orthopaedic and spinal surgery, cardiology including invasive procedures, general surgery, plastics and cosmetic surgery, ENT, and gynaecology. The Hospital has a MAKO robot that undertakes some of the joint replacement surgery which we have become well known for in this field of surgery.
