Job Summary

The Aerospace Corporation is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Full-Stack Developer ( Solutions Developer Staff IV) with strong expertise in both backend ABAP development and frontend SAP Fiori/UI5 development. This is a senior hands-on technical role, working closely with functional teams to build customizations, integrations, and extensions across the S/4HANA landscape.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, onsite at our location in El Segundo, CA.

What Youll Be Doing

Eliciting, analyzing, and clarifying business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Estimating, planning, and delivering work as a member of an agile development team

Incorporating frequent feedback from customers and stakeholders into solutions during development

Designing, developing, testing, and demonstrating SAP ABAP programs/technical solutions including enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms, conversions, and workflows

Troubleshooting and resolving technical and functional business systems issues

Participating in test planning and execution, deployment, and maintenance of the developed solutions

Producing high quality written deliverables including design documents, data models, workflow/data flow diagrams, test scenarios/scripts, and production cutover steps

What You Need to be Successful

Minimum Requirements for the SAP Developer (Solutions Developer Staff IV) include:

Bachelors degree in IT, or related technical discipline is required

A minimum of (6 ) or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience with SAP ECC ABAP development experience, including object-oriented programs is required

Possess a robust working knowledge of SAP user exits and enhancements, with a proven track record in designing, developing, and enhancing SAP S/4HANA applications using ABAP OO, CDS, RAP, Eclipse, and AMDP methodologies.

Demonstrated ability to build and extend engaging Fiori apps that enhance usability and drive business results.

Skilled at supporting seamless integrations between SAP products and third-party providers, ensuring efficient, scalable connections that meet evolving business needs.

Experience in developing and extending OData services while optimizing HANA-based data models and reporting flows to unlock powerful business insights.

Expertise in implementing system enhancements, extensions, and custom logic, adhering to SAP clean-core and extensibility best practices to maintain system integrity and agility.

Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions by working closely with functional teams, thereby fostering enhanced communication and more effective outcomes.

Strong background supporting testing procedures, comprehensive documentation, cutover strategies, and production deployments that ensure smooth transitions and robust post-launch performance.

In-depth experience with HR mini master, time entry, time evaluation, payroll processing, and integrations with third-party payroll systems like ADP, ensuring seamless HR operations.

Adept at eliciting, analyzing, and challenging business solution requirements and user stories, ensuring proposed solutions are both innovative and closely aligned with strategic goals.

Demonstrated skills in designing and documenting functional/technical solutions, coupled with the creation of well-defined test plans that guarantee solution reliability and performance.

Confidently deliver regular solution demonstrations to product owners, business users, and agile teams, actively soliciting feedback and fostering a collaborative environment for continuous improvement.

Exceptional interpersonal skills that drive effective collaboration across internal and external teams, even within complex organizational structures.

A forward-thinking leader who effortlessly navigates between high-level strategic planning and hands-on execution, ensuring that initiatives are driven from conception through to successful completion.

This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance

A minimum of (10 ) or more years of increasingly responsible and relevant professional experience with SAP ECC ABAP development experience, including object-oriented programs is required Demonstrated proficiency in SAP Fiori RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) to build and deliver dynamic, user-friendly applications that drive business value. Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), enabling rapid innovation and scalable cloud solutions while enhancing our digital transformation journey. Strong background in crafting and optimizing CDS views to ensure efficient data management and robust reporting structures. Skilled in using Adobe Forms and Adobe LiveCycle Designer to create interactive, visually appealing, and highly functional digital forms that streamline business processes. Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is a plus, offering insights into advanced analytics capabilities and helping us shape data-driven decision-making processes

A Secret security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government, is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance
