Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
  • Academic Qualifications: Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work. experience.
  • Academic Qualifications: However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D.
  • Academic Qualifications: Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D.
  • Academic Qualifications: Do you meet any of the above criteria? If yes, please indicate which one and attach proof to the application.

Skills

  • Assists with the implementation of projects related to Mine Action including conducting research, analysis and drafting of case studies and background papers and administrative coordination.
  • Provides information on the location of explosive ordnance as a contribution to peacebuilding in Colombia.
  • Assists with Humanitarian Action to protect children and adolescents affected by armed conflict.
  • Provides broad crosscutting support to the UNMAS Coordination office in Bogota, Colombia and assist other incoming projects, in agreement with the CMAP.
  • Supports implementation of the UNMAS Colombia programme’s Resource Mobilization strategy.
  • Participates in the documentation of decisions and actions taken on programme issues.
  • Facilitates cross-project learning and best practice transfer through documentation and dissemination/sharing of lessons learned.
  • Supports UNMAS Colombia Programme projects’ communications and visibility strategy (drafting of social media content, support with the organization of events, etc.)
  • Supports the preparation of draft budgets and project proposals/documents for new projects to be submitted to donors
