Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: For these particular positions, studies in the field of Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Communications, Social Sciences, Humanities or other related degrees would be desirable.
- Academic Qualifications: No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.
- Academic Qualifications: Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Masters or Ph.D.
- Academic Qualifications: Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelors, Masters or PH.D.
- Academic Qualifications: Do you meet any of the above criteria? If yes, please indicate which one and attach proof to the application.

Skills
- Conduct independent projects involving research, drafting training proposals, and preparing presentations on learning and development topics.
- Prepare training-related statistics and other data from existing databases.
- Support the preparation and delivery of training workshops and meetings, including scheduling, material preparation, registration management, participant communication, and hosting webinars via Microsoft Teams.
- Assist in administering the UN Language Programme in Vienna, including maintaining student records, managing registrations, producing statistical reports, monitoring payments, and compiling end-of-semester evaluation results.
- Contribute to outreach activities such as training needs analyses, client satisfaction surveys, course evaluations, and updating content on the Client Support Portal.
- Support marketing initiatives by designing communication materials such as brochures, flyers, guides, and manuals.
- Perform other duties to support the team as needed. WORKSTREAM 2 – INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME/ADMINISTRATION The Planning, Contracting & Reporting Unit’s executes organizational design and job classification, HR analytics, engagement of affiliate personnel and oversees the UNOV/UNODC Internship Programme. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the UNOV/UNODC Internship Programme, including reviewing onboarding documents, preparing welcome materials, and coordinating with relevant teams;
- Acting as a liaison between HRMS and internship supervisors to facilitate communication and ensure timely processing of agreements;
- Assisting with the preparation and issuance of internship agreements and completion certificates;
- Drafting and formatting internal communications, reports, and meeting summaries with clarity and professionalism;
- Creating and maintaining tracking tools (e.g. Excel sheets) with various data and reporting on statistics;
