Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in law or criminal justice is required.
- Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree and no experience will be accepted for candidates who have passed the Young Professionals Programme Examination/United Nations National Competitive Recruitment Examination (NCRE) or the General Service to Professional Examination (G to P)..
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

- A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in terrorism prevention in the area of criminal justice and rule of law and prevention of violent extremism, including legal research and analysis OR the successful completion of the Young Professionals Programme Examination/the United Nations National Competitive Recruitment Examination (NCRE) or the General Service to Professional Examination (G to P) is required.

- Work experience in law, including legal analysis and research related to terrorism prevention is desirable.
- Work experience in implementing capacity building activities related to preventing violent extremism in Asia is desirable.
- Experience in organizing meetings, conferences, seminars etc., including their substantive, logistic and administrative aspects is desirable.
- Work experience within the United Nations system or other international organizations is desirable.
- Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable..
