Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Should be computer literate in standard software applications;
  • Academic Qualifications: Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; and
  • Fluency oral and written in English is required for the internship.
  • Language: Knowledge of French is desirable.

Skills

  • Conducts legal or economic research on emerging issues in international law regarding competition and consumer protection law using multiple research sources; selects relevant material, analyzes information and presents findings for internal review.
  • Assists in the organization of intergovernmental meetings and events and technical cooperation activities on competition and consumer protection laws and policies organized by the Branch
  • Assists in implementing programmes of technical cooperation.
