This consultancy provides an opportunity to contribute specialized expertise to International Trade Centre’s mission in international cooperation and sustainable development. Working in Switzerland, you will apply your professional skills to address complex challenges in international cooperation and sustainable development and support the organization’s programmatic objectives. This role offers the flexibility of consultancy work while contributing to meaningful international development outcomes with global impact.

Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Postgraduate degree (MA/MSc/MBA, PHD or other) in applied economics, business management, development studies or related area.
- Academic Qualifications: Extensive relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the university degree.
- Academic Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience working in interface between development and environment Knowledge of trade particularly relating to the green trade sectors.
- Academic Qualifications: Understanding of challenges for developing countries with reference climate and development.
- Fluency spoken and written in English.
- Language: Knowledge of a second language is desirable..
Skills
- Organize and assist in the delivery of a series of webinars and in person trainings building on the course, complemented by engagement of experts to provide capacity building to government and private sector on trade and environment issues
- Organize, monitor and report on events linked to trade and environment topics
- Design communications strategies and materials for the project and related events
- Carry out ad hoc research on trade and environment issues
- Support proposal writing
