About BLSO Nepal

Better Life Social Organization (BLSO) Nepal is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to improving access to education for underprivileged children. We support schools with basic infrastructure, learning materials, and teacher support. Many of the children we serve come from low-income families who struggle to continue their education.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to support our fundraising and partnership efforts. This role focuses on connecting with donors, building relationships, and helping BLSO grow its impact both locally and internationally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential donors (individuals, NGOs, foundations, CSR partners)
  • Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, Idealist, and other platforms
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with supporters
  • Assist in planning and running fundraising campaigns
  • Support proposal writing, donor communication, and reporting
  • Explore and develop partnerships with international organizations
  • Maintain a simple donor database and track communications

Qualifications & Skills

  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Interest in fundraising, social impact, or nonprofit work
  • Basic knowledge of online platforms (LinkedIn, email, social media)
  • Strong motivation, responsibility, and self-discipline
  • Ability to work independently and meet simple targets
