Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent is required..
  • Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

  • A minimum of seven (07) years of progressively responsible experience within the United Nations system or in the private sector at the national or international level in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Experience: Experience in conducting preventive and corrective maintenance activities for HVAC systems, solar panels, diesel generators, and elevators is desirable.
  • Experience: Experience in assisting with the procurement of goods and services, including drafting the requirements in form of specifications, scope of works, and technical evaluation criteria is desirable.

  • Professionalism: Knowledge of practices and regulations pertaining to electrical installations, maintenance and repairs of Pakistan industry codes and standards, IEC safety and installation regulations, UN wiring practices and procedures.
