Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in political science, international relations, international economics, law, public administration or other related.
- Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree..
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in political science, international relations, law, disarmament, security, development management, conflict resolution or related area is required.
- A minimum of one year of field experience working in a conflict or post-conflict context is required.
- Experience: Experience in providing mediation support and/or advice to senior leadership and senior representatives is required, preferably in Latin America and the Caribbean.
