About the role:
The General Manager Fundraising & Impact is a strategic revenue-focused leadership position. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of the Impact Division, from co-creating international and domestic fundraising strategies to ensuring high-quality field implementation. This role requires a seasoned professional who can bridge the gap between donor expectations and on-ground project excellence, particularly within the healthcare and social impact sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Fundraising & Revenue Generation
- Strategy Co-creation:Develop and execute a comprehensive CSR and donor fundraising strategy targeting both domestic and international markets.
- Revenue Accountability:Meet annual fundraising and project targets defined by leadership; manage the divisions P&L, including monitoring revenues, margins, and expense approvals.
- Business Development:Generate project proposals, manage BD agencies, lead customer acquisitions, and handle high-level stakeholder meetings.
- Collateral Development:Oversee the creation of compelling organizational collaterals and project-specific pitch decks.
- Project Management & Operations
- Implementation Oversight:Ensure successful project delivery through the Impact Team and Implementation Head, maintaining high satisfaction levels for funding agencies and customers.
- Impact Matrix & Reporting:Develop the impact storyline and dashboards; compile and file all necessary reports for regulatory authorities and donors.
- Vendor & Partner Ecosystem:Build and manage a robust network of implementing partners, including nursing partners, hospitals, and medicine supply chains.
- Compliance & Governance:Ensure all activities adhere to legal, fiduciary, statutory, and ethical regulatory requirements.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building
- People Management:Lead the recruitment, training, and performance management of the Impact Division team.
- Technical Excellence:Enhance the team’s domain expertise in field implementation, technical reporting, and client interaction.
- Representation:Act as the face of the Companys Impact Division at various industry forums and manage the divisions social media presence.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:Graduate in Engineering, Science, or Medicine.
- Masters degree in Social Sciences, Healthcare Management, or Hospital Administration from a reputed institution.
- Experience:Minimum
- 12 yearsof relevant experience in Business Development and Fundraising within the Impact Sector.
- Proven track record of winning projects, creating winning proposals, and managing mid-sized teams.
- Deeply networked within theCSR and donor sectors; experience with Government-funded projects is a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in managing budgets, operational SOPs, and reporting structures.
- Ability to translate complex field data into an “impact storyline” for potential funders.
