Job Description:
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients with mental health concerns.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Prescribe and monitor medication for patients as appropriate.
Provide psychotherapy and counselling to patients and their families.
Provide crisis intervention and emergency services as needed.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including primary care physicians, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care.
Participate in quality improvement and performance management activities to ensure the highest standards of care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Maintain accurate and timely reporting as the requiremtn of MoPH, WVA and donor
Required Professional Experience
Experience working with patients with mental health concerns.
Knowledge of evidence-based treatments for mental health disorders.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
Medical degree and graduated from Mental health Specialty program / Psychiatrist
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Attended Neurology fellowships
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement Daily movements to the field Physical Requirements Phsically fit Language Requirements
Knowing Dari languate is required
Knowing English is an advantage
