Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Work experience in an international environment would be an asset Knowledge of secretarial or administrative practices Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) Good knowledge of Excel Experience in taking notes and in re-reading and editing documents (in either French or English) would be desirable Independence (in relation to instructions to be foll
- Language: Excellent oral and written command of French or English (Advanced – UN level lll).
- Language: Ability to communicate in the other language would be desirable (Intermediate – UN level ll) Knowledge of another UN language would be desirable (Intermediate – UN level ll)..
Skills
- Assist with the organization of internal and external meetings/events (reserving rooms and equipment, sending invitations, coordinating for availabilities of participants, etc.)
- Follow up on contacting CC member prospects and regularly update the list of CC prospects
- Assist with the coordination and follow-up of matchmaking meetings between CC members and designated operators (DOs)
- Monitor CC members activities via various communications channels (including CC WhatsApp community) 2. Perform traditional secretariat duties, including
- Administer mail and e-mail correspondence (reception, sorting, formatting and dispatch)
- Ensure the receipt of key information (contracts, reports, etc.) upon request
- Prepare the lists/tables/graphics upon request
- Request and gather information as instructed
