Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Instructional Design Technologist of the Office of Faculty Development and Instructional Technology, the ePortfolio Program Assistant/College Assistant supports the ePortfolio program by providing technical assistance to students, faculty and staff members using ePortfolios.
The ePortfolio Program Assistant/College Assistant performs duties and function in the following areas:
- Provide user support for ePortfolio platforms, especially Digication, and possibly WordPress
- Assist in the development and maintenance of support resources, including web content, manuals and how-to-guides
- Support the development and delivery of trainings and events in a variety of delivery methods
- Assist with platform administration, including user account maintenance
- Maintain records of support services and other activities, and assist in the development of usage and other reports
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Minimum Qualification:
- High school diploma/GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates degree or higher
- Experience with ePortfolio platforms, preferably Digication
- Demonstrated ability to work with technology and eLearning tools, and to upskill quickly
- Experience providing technology support
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other productivity platforms
- Experience creating and editing multimedia (e.g., recording presentations, editing videos, annotating, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem solving
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with WordPress-based platforms
