Job Summary

This consultancy provides an opportunity to contribute specialized expertise to Resident Coordinator System’s mission in international cooperation and sustainable development. Working in Armenia, you will apply your professional skills to address complex challenges in international cooperation and sustainable development and support the organization’s programmatic objectives. Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree in PR and Communications, public administration, public relations, social media marketing or related field is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in journalism, communications, or related fields is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: A solid experience in the areas of communications, marketing, journalism, and digital communication is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Excellent record of accomplishment in producing communications material including social media posts and brochures, flyers, etc. is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Good knowledge of communication principles is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Knowledge of multimedia to develop a range of communication and information products is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Knowledge of digital media, websites, social media platforms and processes is required particularly Facebook and X with experience in creating and sharing digital content.
  • Academic Qualifications: Previous communications experience with the UN or similar is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of target audiences, highly effective writing style, and expertise in high-impact messaging to global audiences is required..
  • Fluency in Armenian and English is required..

Skills

  • Prepare and implement a joint communications strategy for UNSDCF and SDG acceleration. 2.
  • Support donor coordination forum platform engagements. 3.
  • Support the coordination efforts of the UNCG, in alignment with the joint UN Armenia communication strategy on SDG mainstreaming. 4.
  • Produce high quality joint communication products/campaigns branded in line with corporate standards. 5.
  • Organise joint UN public events/campaigns (including digital)/SDG acceleration initiatives to profile the UNs support and advocate for key issues for achieving progress on 2030 Agenda/SDG and the UNSDCF in the country.
  • This includes ensuring clarity, accuracy, relevance, and engaging narratives in all materials that the country communications teams produce.
  • Twelve months with possibility of extension..
