Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Advanced degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Academic Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years in strategic communications, preferably in the UN or international development is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Proven experience in graphic design and social media management is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: Knowledge of digital communication strategies is required..
  • Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; proficiency in other UN languages is advantageous..

Skills

  • Identify key audiences and tailor communication strategies.
  • Support planning and conceptualizing events or advocacy activities.
  • Coordinate visits to Eritrea by various delegations.
  • Maintain and update the UN Eritrea website.
  • Maintain a photo database highlighting sustainable development issues. Content Development
  • Create high-quality content for press releases, articles, and social media.
  • Design visually appealing materials (e.g., infographics, brochures). Media Relations
  • Build relationships with local and international media outlets.
