Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have recently completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have recently completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelors degree or equivalent).
- Academic Qualifications: Be computer literate in standard software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internet research. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and other virtual conferencing software, SharePoint, WordPress, HTML and electronic document management would be an advantage;
- Academic Qualifications: Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter. Promotes and advocates for the fundamental values, standards, and principles of the UN Charter, including respect for and protection of human rights; and
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
- Language: For the internship advertised, fluency in oral and written English is required.
- Language: Knowledge of another United Nations official language, namely Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, as well as of regional languages such as Japanese, Korean, or others, would be an advantage..

- The intern will work under the direct supervision of professional staff of UNCITRAL RCAP.
- Applicants may be requested to undertake the internship remotely in view of constraints regarding visa issuance, international travel and access to UN premises.
