Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in business administration, finance, accounting or related fields is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: A first-level degree (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree..
  • Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

  • Experience: No experience is needed for candidates who have passed the United Nations Young Professionals Programme Examination (YPP) or the G to P Examination (G to P).
  • Experience: Experience in applying private sector or public sector accounting standards such as International Financial Reporting Standard(s) (IFRS) or International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS) is required.
