Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: An advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in business administration, finance, management, law, international relations, or a related field is required.
  • Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree..
  • Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional work experience in finance, administration, business administration, human resources, programme management or a related area, is required.
  • Experience: Of the minimum years of work experience, at least three years in an international context is required.
  • Experience: Experience in providing administrative, financial and/or human resources support to projects in the areas of drug control, crime prevention, criminal justice or a similar field is required.

  • Experience with SAP based applications, such as Umoja, is desirable.
  • Work experience in managing financial agreements with implementing partners, including expenditure monitoring, recording and reconciliation is desirable.
  • Experience within the United Nations System or similar international organization is desirable.
  • Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable..
