Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: The minimum educational qualification required is a High School Diploma.
  • Academic Qualifications: The applicant must also: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). or (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, a second university degree or equivalent, or higher ; 1.
  • Academic Qualifications: Demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; 3.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
  • Language: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an asset..

Skills

  • The purpose of this internship is to support and contribute to the design and development of advanced data analytics and visualization solutions, that will contribute to the delivery of the JIU mandate through the continuous improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of JIU processes.
  • Work will be carried out under the supervision of the JIU Executive Secretary or of delegated Evaluation and Inspection Officers.
