Qualifications

  • Academic Qualifications: Title of degree you are currently pursuing;
  • Academic Qualifications: Graduation Date (When will you be/have graduating/graduated from the programme);
  • Academic Qualifications: Top three areas of interest;
  • Academic Qualifications: Explain why you are the best candidate for this specific internship;
  • Academic Qualifications: Observe of all applicable rules, regulations, instructions, procedures, and directives of the Organization notwithstanding their status as described in section 4 of the UN Internship Programme Administrative Instructions ST/AI/2000/9 & ST/AI/2005/11.
  • Academic Qualifications: Respect the impartiality and independence required of the UN and of the receiving department/office and shall not seek or accept instructions regarding the services performed under the internship agreement from any Government or from any authority external to the UN.
  • Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
  • Language: For the internship advertised, fluency in English (both oral and written) is required..

Skills

  • Assist with reporting, drafting and editing of content for print, web, multimedia, events and publications;
  • Assist with information and knowledge management;
  • Proofread documents, reviewing style, grammar and consistency;
  • Create communication products (flyers, newsletters, graphics, videos, podcasts, multimedia materials) using Adobe suite;
  • Assist with updates to the Department’s website;
  • Assist in organizing special events and meetings;
