Job Summary
This Programme Management Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate critical programmes within Department of Peace Operations’s international cooperation and sustainable development portfolio. Based in United States, you will oversee programme implementation, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results that advance the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, and coordination with government partners, civil society, and other UN agencies. Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, economics or a related field.
- Academic Qualifications: A first-level university degree in combination with qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree..
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.

- A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in political science, international relations, law, disarmament, security, development management, conflict resolution or related area is required.
- A minimum of two years working for the United Nations Department of Peace Operations or related international organization is required.
- A minimum of five years working in intelligence or peacekeeping-intelligence is required.
- Experience: Experience in training development and delivery in peacekeeping-intelligence while incorporating gender considerations to/for a civilian, military and Police audience is required.
