Qualifications
- Academic Qualifications: Be computer literate in standard software applications;
- Academic Qualifications: Have a demonstrated keen interest in the work of the United Nations and have a personal commitment to the ideals of the Charter; and
- Language: English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
- Language: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.
- Language: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish are the official languages of the United Nations Secretariat..
- Perform other duties as assigned. A completed online application (Motivation Statement, Candidate Profile as well as proof of enrolment and/or graduation) is required. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. The Motivation Statement must include:

- Tracking, researching and analyzing information on assigned topics, gathering information from diverse sources and helping assess news value and other potential impact;
- Drafting web stories and social media posts;
- Creating and updating a monthly newsletter;
- Assisting with the implementation of the Sections communication campaigns;
- Maintaining and updating the Sections website;
- Developing graphics for social media and the website;
- Creating monthly social media reports;
