Job Summary

This Programme Management Officer position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and coordinate critical programmes within Department of Operational Support’s international cooperation and sustainable development portfolio. Based in United States, you will oversee programme implementation, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure the delivery of high-quality results that advance the organization’s strategic objectives. You will be responsible for programme planning, monitoring and evaluation, resource mobilization, and coordination with government partners, civil society, and other UN agencies. Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in business administration, management, human resources, economics or a related field is required. A first-level university degree with relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of an advanced university degree in the specified fields of studies.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required.   • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in project or programme management, administration, learning and development or related area is required. Experience designing training programs with an e-learning component is required. Experience conducting training / learning needs assessments is required. Experience working in a learning and development capacity for an international organization is required. Experience conducting Train the Trainer programmes is desirable.
