Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in business administration, public administration, management, engineering, law or related field. A first-level degree (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the specified fields of studies with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English and French are required. Spanish is desirable.   • A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in land or air transport, logistics operations in military, commercial or international organization, or related areas is required. Experience in handling complex logistical and organizational issues at local and international level in the field mission environment is required. Experience in the United Nations system or a comparable international organization is required. Experience in managing a large multicultural team and multiple clients at country level is desirable.
