Qualifications

  • High school Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English and Russian are required.   • Seven (7) years of work experience in security, risk or disaster or emergency areas with security responsibilities, in the public or private service areas, such as national security, military or police, or in a corporate environment is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to five (5) years for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience in the use of Microsoft applications i.e. Word, Excel Access and Powerpoint is required. Prior experience with the UN system or an international NGO is desirable.
