Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required. Course work/training in human resources are highly desirable. Very good computer skills; Knowledge of UN HRIS applications and UMOJA etc. is an advantage. Good knowledge of and application of UN Staff Rules and Regulations required.
- English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English and French are required. - A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources management, administrative services or related area is required. Good knowledge of and application of UN Staff Rules and Regulations is required. Experience in administering a broad range of staff entitlements and benefits, is required Course work/training in human resources is desired. Very good computer skills; Knowledge of UN HRIS applications and UMOJA etc. is desired.

The incumbent is not expected to deviate from these guidelines. The incumbent provides the full range of human resources management assistance. S/he provides inputss in the identification and resolution of a wide range of issues/problems, and effectively handles unforeseen situations. The incumbent plays a lead role in the provision of specialized human resources role.
