Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required.   • A minimum of ten years of experience in finance, budget, accounting, administrative services is required. The minimum years of relevant experience is reduced to 8 for candidates who possess a first-level university degree or higher. Experience in grant-management and trust-fund management including reporting to donors and governing bodies is required. Experience in certifying and approving documents in ERP systems such as SAP, Umoja or similar application is required. Experience with preparing internal and external audit responses and budget committee inquiries is required. Experience in reviewing and approving budget and finance components of project proposals is required. Experience in maintaining and ensuring financial data quality of complex project databases for programme management is desirable.
