Qualifications
- Advanced university degree, (Master or equivalent) degree in Political Science, International Relations, Law or related field. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.

- A minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in political or international affairs work, Intelligence or information analys is, security (military or police) operations, diplomacy, human rights, or related field are required. A minimum of three years’ experience in an analytical team/entity, conducting data collection, collation and analys is as well as geospatial analys is using a variety of relevant information acquisition, database and analytical softw are (Google Earth Pro, QGIS, Arc GIS, or i2 ANB and OSINT techniques) is required. Proven experience drafting high quality, accurate documents in English and in French under tight deadlines is required. Experience working of minimum two years in supervising military, police and national staff in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team is required. At least three years of work experience in conflict and network analys is in conflict or post-conflict field operations, including two in the Great Lakes region is required. Experience briefing senior officials on complex or multidimensional issues is required. Proven strong interpersonal skills and experience building and maintaining a reliable network of multidisciplinary sources (including both, state and non-state armed actors) is required. Notably experience in interviewing and HUMINT is required. Experience in intelligence data management application that enables to capture, control and analyze multi-source data in security-rich work group environments is desirable. At least 1 years experience in a hazard/hardship conflict/post conflict duty station (classified D or E in the UN or non-UN equivalent) is required
