Qualifications

  • An Advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent degree) in business or public administration, computer science, information systems, mathematics, statistics or related area is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree in the specific fields.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required.   • A minimum of fifteen years of progressively responsible experience in information systems management or related field is required. Experience in the areas of information and communication technology strategic management and enterprise architecture framework is required. Experience in the area of digital identity or data privacy is required. Experience in the delivery of solutions related to cybersecurity is required. Experience in managing and directing design and implementation of highly secure information technology solutions including with respect to cryptographic controls, integrated authentication solutions and threat modelling is required. Experience in managing working groups and providing policy advice to senior leadership on information security risk management is required. Experience with ISO27000, ITIL and CCM (Cloud Controls Matrix) frame works is desirable. Experience in change management as it pertains to information and communication technology is desirable.
