Qualifications

  • Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent degree) in supply chain management, logistics, business administration/management, project management, engineering, or related area. A first level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English is required. French is desirable.   • A minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible relevant experience in at least two areas of supply chain management or logistics support operations: logistics planning, warehouse management, inventory management, distribution, or related areas in a complex organization environment, is required. At least two years of management experience in the area of centralised warehousing is required. Experience in managing centralized warehousing in an international environment is desirable. Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or similar system, in the business area of supply chain management is desirable. Experience working with data analytics and visualization tools and developing data analytics and visualization reports and dashboards is desirable.
