Qualifications

  • An advanced university degree (Masters degree or equivalent) in law, social science, criminology or related discipline is required. A first-level university degree in similar fields in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
  • English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For th is job opening, English and Russian are required.   • A minimum of five years of relevant progressively responsible professional work experience in the area of border management, trade supply chain security or a related area, of which at least two years at the international level, is required. Work experience in project/programme management and technical assistance delivery in a relevant field at the national or international level is required. Work experience supporting the management of a law enforcement cooperation network is required. Work experience within the United Nations System or a similar international organization is desirable. Experience in data analytics or related area is desirable.
