About the role
TheDirector of Coalitions & Member Experienceowns member value realization, with particular attention to how institutions experience Campus Compact, derive meaning from participation, and choose to remain engaged over time. Sitting at the intersection of relationship management, engagement strategy, and coalition infrastructure, this role serves as the primary steward of member retention and renewal strategy, member leadership pathways, and coalition vitality.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Membership, this position ensures that engagement is intentional, sequenced, and responsive to institutional context, and that member voice meaningfully informs organizational priorities, programs, and structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement Lifecycle (Onboarding Renewal)
- Design and oversee the end-to-end member engagement journey, from onboarding through renewal decision points.
- Ensure engagement touchpoints are purposeful, well-timed, and aligned with institutional needs and capacity.
- Partner with Systems & Analytics to monitor engagement patterns, identify gaps or drop-off points, and inform strategic adjustments.
- Renewal Strategy & Retention Risk Mitigation
- Develop renewal strategy, including messaging, timing, and escalation pathways that reflect member value, engagement history, and institutional context.
- Coordinate renewal timelines with Recruitment (invoicing), Finance (reconciliation), and senior leadership.
