Position:Childcare & Parenting Support Specialist

Location:Riverside, New Jersey/ Bronx, NY/ Staten Island, NY

Schedule:NJ 12pm-8pm/ Bronx 9am-5pm/ Staten Island 9am-5pm / times may vary

Pay Frequency:Bi-weekly or twice monthly

What Youll Do:

• Create and maintain awarm, supportive, and safe environmentfor children in our care.
• Providehands-on parenting support and trainingto mothers, empowering them with essential childcare skills.
• Collaborate with the house team to help residentsbuild self-sufficiency and confidence.
• Develop and leaddaily activitiesthat nurture childrens social, emotional, and intellectual growth including story time, arts and crafts, music, and interactive play.
• Support children in building positive habits related to personal care, sharing, and responsibility.
• Ensure a clean and safe daycare space, including diapering, changing clothing, and supervising meal, rest, and toileting routines.
• Document childrens progress and communicate with parents and staff as needed.
• Assist house staff with additional tasks when appropriate.

Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour
