About Simons Heart and CPR Jukebox

Simons Heart is a nationally recognized nonprofit dedicated to preventing sudden cardiac arrest in children, teens, and young adults. Over the past twenty years, the organization has screened more than 20,000 students, helped pass Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention legislation in 19 states, educated over 2 million coaches nationwide, built a digital pediatric cardiac registry and placed more than 500 AEDs in communities.

CPR Jukebox is Simons Hearts flagship experiential platform.

CPR Jukebox is a music powered CPR experience designed to make lifesaving skills fun, accessible, and memorable, especially for students. Participants pick a song, grab a ball, and learn CPR by pushing to the beat. What began as a creative activation is now scaling nationally through tours, student powered marathon events, and licensed partnerships.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Lead, Brand Partnerships to own sponsorship, experiential, and licensing revenue for CPR Jukebox as it scales nationally.

This is a high autonomy role for someone who has sold sponsorships, partnerships, experiential marketing, media or brand integrations and wants to apply those skills to a mission that matters. You will own the full revenue cycle from first conversation through signed agreement. This role exists to exceed sponsorship revenue targets across the tour, marathon and licensing channels.

You will be the person who asks for the partnership, owns the yes or no and carries responsibility for the outcome.

This is the first dedicated revenue hire for CPR Jukebox. You will help define pricing, packaging, positioning, and how partnerships support lifesaving impact.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Ownership

  • Build and manage an active pipeline from outbound outreach through close
  • Collaborate with leadership on pricing, packaging, and sales materials
  • Track performance and provide regular forecasts and updates
  • Exceed defined sponsorship revenue targets and maintain a healthy pipeline to achieve them.

Sponsorships

  • Secure corporate sponsorships for CPR Jukebox tours at festivals, sporting events, and community activations
  • Sell sponsorship packages for the CPR Jukebox Marathon, a twelve hour student powered flagship event
  • Pitch and present partnership opportunities to corporate, institutional, and community partners

Brand Partnerships and Licensing

  • Identify, pitch, and close licensing and cobranded activation opportunities
  • Negotiate agreements that balance partner value with mission integrity

Relationship Development

  • Build and maintain long term relationships with sponsors, partners, and event organizers
  • Represent CPR Jukebox and Simons Heart in meetings, presentations, and selected industry events

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is a steward seller. Someone who knows how to sell and does it with care.

You likely bring:

  • Experience in sponsorship, partnerships, media, experiential marketing, or brand integrations
  • Comfort engaging senior marketing, brand, and partnership leaders
  • The ability to translate creative concepts into funded partnerships
  • Confidence initiating the ask and closing agreements
  • Emotional durability and comfort hearing no without losing belief
  • Strong judgment about fit and discipline to walk away from misaligned opportunities
  • Organization and follow through without heavy systems or supervision

Nonprofit experience is not required. Occasional travel is expected.

Compensation and Benefits

This role includes a competitive base salary plus a performance-based bonus tied to revenue and partnership goals. High performing team members can expect total annual compensation in the range of $70,000 to $90,000.

Benefits include health coverage, flexible work arrangements, generous time off and reimbursement for approved travel and business expenses.

Setting Expectations

This role is:

  • about building long term, values aligned brand partnerships
  • about representing the mission with integrity and sound judgment
  • about asking for money clearly and confidently without apology
  • about owning revenue outcomes in an early stage environment

This role is not:

  • a traditional nonprofit fundraising or development role
  • focused on grants, major gifts, galas, or donor cultivation
  • high volume transactional sales
  • primarily about networking, brand awareness or event execution without revenue responsibility
