Imaara Foundation is seeking an experiencedApp Developerto support the development of our survivor-centric Resource App launching in 2026. This platform will be designed as a safe, verified, and trustworthy digital space where survivors can access support and resources without fear.
This role is ideal for a developer who is passionate about ethical, secure technology and trauma-informed, survivor-first design. The selected partner will play a key role in shaping the technical foundation of a platform built for safety, dignity, and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure app architecture
- Develop dashboards and admin interfaces
- Build and manage verification workflows
- Collaborate on trauma-informed, survivor-centric UX
- Ensure best practices for data protection and user safety
Qualifications:
- Experience in mobile or web app development
- Strong understanding of scalable architecture
- Experience with admin panels and workflow systems
- Interest in social impact and ethical technology
- Sensitivity to building for vulnerable user communities
Role Details:
- Role Type: Freelance/Contractual
- Location: India (Chennai preferred; remote within India considered)
- Compensation: This is a paid project. Rates will be discussed based on scope, needs, and deliverables.

In 2026, Imaara Foundation aims to launch its first survivor-centric Resource App to provide a safe and trusted platform for survivors seeking support. This project is rooted in principles of safety, verification, trauma-informed care, and ethical technology.
