Position Summary
The International Programs Manager oversees Samaritans Feet Internationals global programs and operations, working closely with international partners, donors, suppliers, and affiliates to advance the organizations mission. This role is responsible for coordinating international initiatives, supporting global development efforts, managing overseas logistics in collaboration with internal teams, and strengthening relationships that drive programmatic and fundraising success.
The ideal candidate is culturally competent, highly organized, and passionate about international development, community engagement, and fundraising in a dynamic nonprofit environment.
Reports to:Chief Program Officer
Location:Charlotte, NC (Hybrid/Remote Considered)
Travel:Domestic and international travel required as needed
Key Responsibilities
International Program Management

- Oversee and support Samaritans Feet Internationals global operations and international programs.
- Establish, manage, and strengthen in-country relationships with partners and affiliates.
- Collaborate on global strategy development, recruit new international partners, and draft and manage MOUs.
- Ensure policies, procedures, and best practices are implemented consistently across international partners.
- Monitor program progress and support financial and operational accountability for assigned international regions.
Logistics & Operations

- Collaborate closely with the Logistics Manager to plan and oversee international shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers, donors, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Prepare, review, and maintain all required import/export documentation and reports.
- Track shipments, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Fundraising & Development

- Identify, cultivate, and steward international donors and partners aligned with global programs.
- Manage anindividual annual fundraising goal of $250,000.
- Support donor engagement, proposal development, reporting, and stewardship activities.
Community Engagement & Representation

- Participate in speaking engagements and community events including schools, churches, conferences, and international gatherings.
- Represent Samaritans Feet International professionally and passionately to external audiences.
- Support engagement strategies that increase awareness, participation, and support for international programs.
Travel Expectations

- Travel is required on an as-needed basis and may include bothdomestic and international travel.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally, including extended trips overseas, based on program and partner needs.

Revenue Goal for 2026: $250,000
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week and is based in Charlotte, NC.
