Position Overview
Cure Alzheimers Fund (CureAlz) is seeking a Human Resources Generalist (HRG) to provide day-to-day support across a broad range of Human Resources functions including recruitment, benefit administration, employee onboarding, training and development, performancemanagement, and employment documentation. They are responsible for implementing and evaluating human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.
- Manage employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Assist with benefit administration, including enrollment, changes, and answering employee questions.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain employee personnel files, including I-9 documentation.
- Administer leave programs, maintaining accurate and compliant records.
- Source and implement training and professional development opportunities for staff.
- Ensure competitive compensation, benefits, and performance evaluation programs; utilizing resources provided from CureAlzs PEO and independent offerings.
- Identify key performance metrics for HR.
- Draft and maintain HR and organizational policies related to the CureAlz handbook.
- Support recruiting efforts, including partnering to create job descriptions and determine sourcing strategies.
- Partner with and provide oversight to external vendors as required.
- Provide backup support for payroll processing and 401k documentation.
- As a member of the Business Services group, join team projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- At least five years of human resources experience, including talent management.
- Creative problem-solver and hands-on leader.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or related software.
Salary and Benefits
- Expected annual salary range for this position is $75,000 – $95,000. Final salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Employees (and their families) are eligible to enroll in benefits per eligibility rules. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
- Benefits also include a 401K plan, paid time off, and 13 holidays per year.
