FOUNDATION MANAGER

The Giving Back Fund, Inc. is currently seeking to add a new team member, a full-time Foundation Manager, who would be an integral member of our growing Foundation team and responsible for managing a portfolio of charitable clients.

You will be managing day-to-day operations and administration of select clients:

  • Serve as point-person for day-to-day questions, inquiries and needs for clients, including high-profile individuals
  • Draft and approve client contracts, approve expenses and payment requests
  • Develop and oversee client budgets and finances
  • Manage grant and scholarship cycles of assigned clients: grants and scholarships
  • Manage clients donations: processing gifts, approving thank you letters, and creating online giving portals
  • Performing due diligence and contacting on potential grantees or scholarship recipients
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of events and fundraisers
  • Create and approve marketing and event collateral
  • Use CRM to manage donors for individual clients
  • Develop and implement new charitable programs and processes to meet clients donor advisors goals
  • Onboard and operationalize new clients
  • Advise clients related to IRS rules and regulations for Fiscally Sponsored Organizations
  • Critically evaluate growth opportunities and ways for clients to increase impact
  • Distributing RFPs and applications
  • Research social issues and existing programs working on the issue, and provide innovative solutions to these social issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equiv. experience required
  • Previous work experience in the nonprofit or philanthropy sectors
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in at least one of the following

areas: Individual donor engagement and development, corporate sponsorship procurement,

event planning and execution, fundraising through social media, grant and fundraising

campaign content development, IRS rules and compliance

  • 5+ years working experience required- previous experience with project/account management a plus
  • Extremely attentive to details, strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Communicates clearly and effectively
  • Works calmly and efficiently in a crisis and works well under pressure and on tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and identify priority tasks
  • Skilled at working in high-paced environment, with high volume of emails/tasks
  • Strong skills in Google Suite. Zoho, Sage, Give Lively, and Ramp are pluses.
  • Experience with CRM, databases, and graphic design a plus
  • Some evening and weekend hours may be required

This is a remote position.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $55,000 – $75,000 annually depending on experience. GBF offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and a flexible spending account (FSA), unlimited PTO, and paid holidays.
