About Us:

Homeless Services Network (HSN) of Central Florida is dedicated to ending homelessness by advancing collaboration, strategy, and capacity building across the region.

Position Overview:

The Grants Admin Specialist (GAS) is responsible for assisting with the management of grants currently administered by the Central Florida Commission on Homelessness (CFCH/CoC FL-507). This individual serves as the lead for annual monitoring activities and supports the coordination of training for all sub recipient providers for their assigned grant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support all administrative and compliance functions related to HUD grants
  • Monitor and maintain sub-recipient files and training activities
  • Reconcile billing packets and track budget-to-actuals
  • Submit monthly reimbursement requests per grant contract guidelines
  • Coordinate contract renewals and collaborate with finance and program teams
  • Provide reports and data for funders, auditors, and leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business, Human Services, or related field; OR Associates + 2 years experience
  • 4+ years of experience in human services or social work preferred
  • Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data import/export)
  • Experience with grant monitoring and financial systems preferred
  • Familiarity with HMIS or similar databases is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
